New England Revolution forward Taylor Twellman announced his retirement on Wednesday, bringing an end to a successful nine-year spell in Major League Soccer because of medical issues.
Twellman was the 2005 MLS MVP and a five-time MLS All-Star during his nine seasons with the Revolution.
