Mancini - We wanted to win

City held out for a goalless draw in North London and they did not even manage a shot on target against their title rivals.

From the outset it appeared that City were happy to take a point and avoid defeat, but Manciniinsists that was not the case.

"I think Arsenal played very well," he told Sky Sports.

"They had good chances in first 15-20 minutes, they had more possession but after this they didn't have more chances to score."

man city with 10 men at home when we played them last were more attacking then they were tonight. They were so boring. Arsenal dominated and were within a whisker of 3 points had van persie tapped wilshere's cross in at the start
