Lucas Neill has pointed to the importance of the English Premier League for Asian football following Australia's 4-0 victory over India in the 2011 Asian Cup.
The Galatasaray centre-back spent most of his career in English football, with spells at Blackburn, West Ham and Everton, and believes that competitions across the continent need to seek inspiration from the world's best marketed league.
