Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is hopeful he will have completed the signings of Sulley Muntari and Stephane Sessegnon "in the next 24 hours".
Muntari is already on Wearside talking over his potential loan move from Inter Milan, while Paris Saint-Germain's Sessegnon is due to arrive on Friday.
Sessegnon has spoken publicly of his desire to seal his switch, while Muntari is also known to be keen to finalise his transfer.
