Chelsea TV: Why Chelsea and why now?
Torres: I felt from last summer that I need to do a step forward in my career and for my ambition as a footballer. I am joining a team that is at the top level, there is not another level after Chelsea. I am joining with players like Chelsea have. I am joining with big names like Terry, Lampard, Drogba and Anelka and I can be part of this great team.
How often do you get to see a video of Torres's goals against Chelsea, as a Liverpool player, featured on Chelsea's official website! Lol...
Of cource he must say he is happy in chelsea... it`s chelseafc.com. BUT I don`t think this is a "step forward in his career". Liverpool are now building up a new big team, and already next year I think they are gonna fight in the League.
