Eredivisie outfit Feyenoord have filed a claim worth several million euros with the Danish Football Association (DBU) because of the injury problems of experienced attacker Jon Dahl Tomasson.
The highly rated forward sustained a tendon injury in Denmark's 3-1 loss against Japan at the 2010 World Cup and has since been sidelined due to the knock. Tomasson picked up the knock 10 minutes before the final whistle, but he was forced to stay on the pitch as Denmark had already made three substitutions.
