West Ham United have been wheeling Robbie Keane into an ice chamber in a bid to speed up his recovery from a calf injury.
The Republic of Ireland striker was West Ham's key January signing in a bid to avoid the drop but he damaged a calf in training and is facing weeks on the sideline.
The Hammers are looking to trim the recovery period by putting him in a chamber that plunges to sub-zero temperatures.
"Robbie and I had to sit in the chamber at minus 140 degrees for five minutes at a time," said Hammers midfielder Jack Collinson who is battling to overcome a knee injury.
