Defoe feeling fed up at Spurs

Jermain Defoe admits he is growing frustrated by a lack of first-team chances at Tottenham, although he insists he is committed to the club.

The England striker has dropped out of Harry Redknapp's first-choice XI this season as he has struggled for goals, with only four in the league all campaign.

"I want to help the club achieve things, win trophies and get in the Champions League, but when you feel like you are working hard, training hard and being professional, and then for some reason you are not playing, it is difficult," Defoe told Sky Sports News.

I understand him very well. In my opinion, he should be used more. He has evrything to become a world class player. Myabe he should change club, and prove Redknapp that he is wrong?

Hes not a top four type player and that's what spurs are aiming for he's about the same calibre as Darren Bent. He is a great striker but just not good enough.

But Couch and Pavlychenko have been prefered to him and they are both useless. He's miles ahead of them in terms of ability and goals so why Harry Redknapp doesn't play him often is beyond me.
