Defiant Tevez will fight City's new charge too

Carlos Tevez is refusing to back down despite winning the first round of his fight with Manchester City.

The Argentina star, who attended a ­disciplinary hearing on Friday, remains determined to fight the club in the ongoing battle over his alleged Munich mutiny last month.

As revealed by the Mirror, Tevez was successful in getting his disciplinary charge ­downgraded from ‘refusing to play’ to ‘refusing to warm-up’ – a significant shift from City.

Tevez, who played golf in the morning before attending the hearing - chaired by City’s chief operating officer Graham Wallace - is adamant he will contest any punishment.
