He's a top keeper and will only improve as he gets older. It's a shame some man u fans can't see that.

"He's a top keeper and will only improve as he gets older"

thats the problem right there.

A club like MU need a young keeper like this as a secondary option to gain experience playing in "lower" competitions like the FA cup, carling cup and a fully experienced keeper playing in the UCL and EPL.

he does have talent, no doubt. but when i look at the 2 united keepers, to me anders lindegaard looks the much better between the 2. as a fan i feel more at ease when he's in the poles especially since our defense is missing vidic.

I agree in principal - the problem is that De Gea isn't an inexperienced keeper.

He's played in several competitions with both Spain U-21'S and Athletico Madrid. There's no doubt he'll come good, it's just that he's part of a vicious circle.

The less he plays the less confidence he gets. And as Fergie concentrates on the league he'll be reluctant to pick him, making it harder for De Gea.

Hopefully he realises his enormous potential - because if he does he'll be absolutely outstanding. Needs to bulk up and try to gain some confidence.
