Barca also missed very good chances as well. You're talking as if Arsenal dominated all chances and lost to an unlucky goal. Arsenal played very well, yes. But had all chances been converted by both teams, Barca would still have won by 2 goals or so.
Barca under-performed, most likely due to fatigue from playing 4 games within 9 days. And yet, they still had enough to see off Arsenal at the Emirates. They are THAT good. And when they are in peak condition, they are unstop...
And judging by your comment, you deserve to lose a pair.
You're not one of those hypocrites that whine about the actions of players you don't like while conveniently ignoring similar actions from the club players you support, are you?
Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize he was the only player in the world to "go down like a sack of s41t3" at the slightest touch.
And those were amazing refereeing decisions, right? Making biased calls based on a person's history rather than on what they see in front of them at that point in time. That must be why there's so little complaints about referees in football games these days.
And please save your "he cheated them out of s...
So......he complains about his side benefitting from a penalty call because Luis Suarez is on his side? Isn't that like arguing with yourself?
Oh, and Suarez is hardly the biggest dirtiest cheat of them all. He likes to exaggerate small contacts. That's about it. Meanwhile, many others actually dive without any contact at all.
But OH NOOO Suarez has to be the biggest cheat because he makes mincemeat out of your favourite teams. I mean who cares about ...
Juve beating Real to go into the Final? C.Ronaldo doesn't care. He scored a goal and is tied with Messi on 10 goals. Now he's secretly praying that Messi doesn't score in the Final. He knows his priorities.
I don't know why people keep bringing up Skrtel's shirt-pulling. Lots of defenders have been doing it in the past and many more are still doing it today. It can't be helped in a league as physical brutal as the PL. Referees know that. That's why they're usually lenient on defenders.
Just because a couple of neurotic commentators decide to fixate on a defender doesn't mean it's the new sin on the block.
I agree. In my opinion, he only got the POTY award last season because Suarez had on-field behavioral issues and RVP lost a bit of steam towards the end of the season.
He's actually upset because any increase in Bale's price will push up Suarez's.
Oooooooohhhhh! The tween section of the football fans are NOT going to be happy about this. LOL.
Of course not. It's only the xenophobic English media that can't stand him. Them and their gullible readers.
You'd better not be. If you're half as good as him, that'd be an achievement in itself.
The PL has been better than LaLiga for quite a long time now. Who, from other continents, support any team from LaLiga other than Real and Barca?
I believe him. He has give everything for Liverpool, controversies aside. He has worked his a** off every full 90minutes match, even when the team is losing and most of his teammates stopped trying. I have no doubt he will do the same for Madrid.
£7m for a top player? Cheap.
Rebellion and refusal to play/train mid-season? Too costly. Avoid.
CITY. £50m. £200,000 p/w. Mission Accomplished.
What I'd like to know is who Real's going to turn to now, since the "best in the world" Mourinho couldn't deliver the CL trophy?
I bet there were quite a few extra zeros at the end of the numbers. I'd be tempted too, only tempted, mind you. :D
Yeah well you're sure trying your hardest to drive them away. Toure, Pearce, Williams?
Roy "37 years experience" Hodgson. Second only to Tony Pulis in negative football tactics. I knew the FA wasn't serious about International matches as soon as you were appointed.
I'm torn. Obviously, Hendo is a decent PL midfielder. But LFC needs more than just "decent" if they want to go up again. They need to buy actual top players and not "decent players with top transfer fees".(That's a good way to go bankrupt.)
I've said it before and I still stand by it after all these years - Henderson is just not good enough to be consistently starting for LFC, much less be Captain. Maybe for a LFC team that wants to stay midtab...
