He was way ahead of his time!
I'm from Santos, SP Brasil and that's not quite how Pele talked about Neymar, it was not an attack, he did say that he believes that the success went a little bit over Neymar's head and that he's not helping the team as much as he could and that Neymar is not ready to go to Europe yet.

Never heard Pele say he hates Messi, Pele is Santista at heart, Santos F. C. is his passion, Neymar is the best in Brazil and the Americas and he plays in Santos FC! People need to calm down, Pele is talking as a fan, people takes things way too seriously nowadays!

@CYBERSNAKE, most of those articles are journalists trying to get attention, he haven't said any of those things, he never said that he thinks he's better than anyone, but he has said that he dreams in one day to become the best in the world. The kid loves to play in Santos F. C., he makes major money there, no reason to leave yet.

Why are you sick from hearing from him? He's a team player, he doesn't talk trash, he respects everyone and he is making history in Brasil! He wants to stay in Brasil, and I'm glad. Seems like people that can't take him anymore are just jealous!
