Goalie is young, and his first match in pl. I am not worried about him in the future. They had a bit luck with the secong goal, however United was the best team and deserved 3 points. I am glad Rooney scored... He is in my FPL:)

Rooney is expensive, but a point picker. Delivers all the time. J. A Riise is cheap, and could be a good outsider, as he is a defender scoring goals and giving assists.

Gerrard is the only player that has delivered at a top-level for the last years in Liverpool. You know what you get when he enters.
Problem for Liverpool is the rest of the players.
Carragher and suarez is not enough to lift them, I think. Other players has to raise their bottom level, Liverpool at their best is a title candidate, but they deliver one match for playing like kids the next.
In my opinion Liverpool can turn out to be a mid-runner, or top 3. To early to say, it doesnt look good at the moment, but Dalglish has delivered results before!
I am pretty sure United will be in the race for the title, most probably theyll win.
I guess Chelsea is ending up with a strong squad, but so do City and Arsenal. This season is hard to predict.
