Misleading title.

LeBron signed an exclusive representation rights agreement deal with FSM. Since this is a first time FSM is dealing with representing individual pro-athletes, they had to give him some form of guarantee in case the partnership turns sour. Thus they gave him a minority stake within the LFC shares.

It's not LeBron investing money into Liverpool FC. He didn't suddenly wake up one morning and decide to help LFC. It's LeBron being giv...

Welcome to the party. It's been shocking us since 2008.

How optimistic. I don't believe in that at all anymore. Not since the "hoofball" tactic came back into play after Carroll became a regular starter. Watching the West Brom game was just painful, especially seeing Suarez hardly being given anything to work with, while the defenders just "hoof" it up to Carroll everytime they have ball and hope for a bit of luck.

I thought the addition of Andy Carroll was to add an extra variety to the attack, not hoofing...

Until and unless he accepts that he's no longer the force he was back in 2007, his form is not going to improve anytime soon. He needs to stop blaming his previous club for his current predicament. He needs to stop trying to convince himself he had Liverpool's best interest at heart by going to Chelsea.

He should accept that he did everything does for his own benefit and no one else. He should also learn proper humility. And the sooner he stops living in denial, the b...

No team is truly unbeatable. Yes, that includes Barcelona. Although the chances of that happening are pretty slim.

The "Hero" status is earned by prevailing through fire and ice, through ups and downs. Torres flourished during the ups but couldn't handle the downs. Thus, his image is forever tarnished, and his legacy ruined.

Luis came in from a club playing Champions League football to a club that might not make Europa League next season. He is starting from rock bottom and is working his way up the Hero-ladder. He will be tested and trialed along the way through many obstac...

RVP is NOT the best striker in the league. He never was either. The best PL strikers were Torres, Tevez, Rooney, etc. RVP doesn't feature in that class. Even Berbatov is better.

Ancelotti is a great manager. Abramovich needs to stop interfering so much with his managers' work. I have a nagging feeling that buying Torres for £50m wasn't part of Ancelotti's plans. He seems more like a clever manager who prefers to buy young players like David Luiz, rather than gambling a huge load of money on big-names.

Are you kidding me? Liverpool has a better chance of finishing 5th than Chelsea has of finishing 2nd.

"Suarez could have played as a replacement for Van Persie if ever the Dutchman was injured....."

What? Suarez would be in the starting line-up of any team in the world except maybe Barcelona and Real. He's too good to play second-fiddle to RVP. And if Champions League was his only draw, he would've gone to Tottenham, who were also trying to sign him at the time.

You're making it sound as if he would've instantly agreed to be on the b...

Robbie Fowler. What a player he was. That 4-minute hattrick was legendary, especially since it was against Arsenal of all clubs.

And this goal is special -

Only City and Chelsea are stupid enough to invest that kind of money on a yearly basis. If Maureen wants a real challenge, he should try to win titles without spending obscene amounts of money.

Honestly, I do not believe in that. Yeah sure he'll score again. But his old form is gone. Too many injuries will do that to a player. He will score again occasionally. But I'm pretty certain he'll never be anywhere near as good as he was in 07-08.

Not. Good. Enough.

Liverpool should stop adding mediocre players to the team just because they're for free. Hardly any recent players who they've signed "for free" have been worth their wages. Joe Cole being the biggest culprit. No offense to Jova, but he's not good enough for LFC. That's just the way it is. Goodbye at the end of the season.

He will have another 2 chances to win the World Cup. By the 3rd time, he'll be 35 years old and probably no longer in the national squad.
