I don't think Rooney will like always playing for RVP, Their egos might cause problems. Manchesters united's best Formations for RVP will probably be a 4-5-1 With RVP up front and Rooney in the back somewhere in midfield. or 4-3-3 with RVP upfront (get the best out of him) and No Rooney unless he wants to play in the middle or on the wing. I just can't see a 4-4-2 working that well, but who knows, maybe they can get Alone.
The only reason why I would have problems with him joining Arsenal is that I've heard he's a troublemaker.
It has to be someone like M'vila (to help Diaby in Songs place) and Someone to take over Sagna's place while he's out. Also what happened to the Sahin transfer thing did Arsenal get him or another club or did he decide to stay in the end?

Lol, relax 1 game into the season and now people think Arsenal will drop to second division......Give the new guys a few games to gel. None of them may score 30 goals a season but they can all pitch in a few to make up the numbers. The biggest worry for me is the defense, so far no real backup for Sagna and no idea who will be back up for Diaby(he will replace Song) in midfield.

Arsenal were good in midfield. Arteta, Cazorla and Diaby bossed the midfield. Oddly that I think Diaby was the best player on the pitch, If he could just get his head straight and hopefully stay injury free he can take Song's place. On the defense the team did just fine. Just need more work with the strikers. Gervinho was the best one out there but he needs to make better decisions, Walcott needs to get in the game more often and both Podolski and Giroud need more playing to gel.............
This one hurts me more than the RVP one. Song from what I've seen never cried that he wanted to leave or tried to screw up the team morale, so him leaving this quickly without any fuzz I approve. I wish him luck and that he benches busquets. Now, Arsenal need to make the Sahin deal happen and some one like M'villa needs to come in.

So Song is gone? since he didn't play today and he wasn't injured I guess is true. Also Arsenal didn't look that bad. The Midfield look good as did the defense(At least decent). All they have to work on is on the final third with Finishing and stuff. That Will come with time so I would give them couple of more games to gel better, the new guys that is plus what ever other signings they will add.
The transfer fee for Adebayor is not the problem for Spurs from what I've read. Its his high wage demands. Spurs don't want to pay him that much. So Adebayor can stay at City and just train and exercise and not much else and earn a lot of money. Or he could join Spurs and see his weekly earnings almost cut in half, but with lots of play time. It all depends on how much Ade loves football and money. So far I'd say money has the edge.
