Wasn't a match for the ages but I was expecting this one to be a lot different. I did not expect United to control the midfield and outplay Chelsea for possession, especially since just last week Swansea had a considerable amount of possession advantage over us. Why Chelsea didn't play a center forward for the 1st 60 mins was baffling too. Very defensive display by Chelsea and they mostly played on the counterattack which I was expecting more control in United's side of the field....

Can't wait until FFP comes in and this joke of a club gets torn apart.

Instead of having RVP and Dembele as bad transactions for their original clubs, they should've just added Maicon and Joe Allen to the list.

You're getting sacked in the morning, sacked in the morning, sacked in the moooooooooorning, you're getting sacked in the morning!

Hahaha. Well played Wigan! City looked slow and were outpaced by Wigan for most of the match. City only really had 1 good attempt on goal which Joel beautifully kicked out Tevez's attempt. I'm kind of bummed that Wigan will be dismantled this summer but we'll see you guys at the Community Shield.

So Rafael gets sent off for that challenge yet Ramires gets nothing for kicking out at Jones? Oh well, title is sealed up and it seems like we're not interested playing out these remaining fixtures. Gus Johnson and Ian Wright are just awful and I'm so glad NBC has the rights for broadcasting prem matches after FSC pulled this shit.

Doesn't really matter if he said it or not. All signs seem to point to a Chelsea return this summer. Real shouldn't be too bothered by this since they seem to be lining up either Ancelotti or AVB as a replacement. Mourinho doesn't like to stay at clubs very long anyway so he'll move on to another club after Chelsea in about 3 years from now.

Just wanted to point that out. Enjoy living in the past.

4 of Madrid's Champs league wins were in it's 1st 4 years of inception. Also Madrid hasn't made it to a Champion's League Final in 11 years. Unless you want to count that Champion's League trophy you got from the movie Goal 2.

Champions again! Signing RVP proved to be pivotal and De Gae really stepped up as a world class keeper. After last year's disappointment, winning the league with 4 matches to go is such a relief.

Here's how you celebrate a title win Suarez... http://i.minus.com/iPbSAGy6...

In light of this event, the FA has designed new match gear.

Suarez is a racist. I mean, he didn't even try to bite Evra, what's up with that?

If this squad that he's coaching had any talent then maybe he'd be real successful but that's not the case. Hopefully he can start some younger guys in there that can develop into a decent side.

Pogba not being able to make our 1st squad says a lot more about how class the squad that we have on the pitch since he could barely make it on the bench. He was/is young and had a bit of an ego to him and was still developing while players like Cleverley were given the opportunity to show their worth. I wish Pogba the best but I did chuckle a bit at his harsh sending off.

Not really... San Marino is easily one of the worst teams in Europe. Only a few years back they got beat by Germany 13-0, I believe.

He won the prem title with United, something that Liverpool couldn't do when he was in his prime.

4054d ago 5 agree3 disagreeView comment

Really? They needed a full strength squad to beat up on poor Barnsley? Most prem teams would've played their reserves.

Biggest merc in the business.

Tale of two halves really. Loved how both United and Chelsea supporters were singing "You're getting sacked in the morning". Replay should be a cracker.

@Yokan

You mean the same pathetic Spurs that beat Inter today 3-0? Spurs are a tough club and currently in 3rd place in the prem. If Aston Villa did the double on us maybe your opinion would have a bit of truth but you're just another bitter. Jog on.

First of all, there's nothing Rafael can do about it hitting his hand when he's less than a yard away. Should it have been a penalty? Yes. But then Ramos' two handballs and his challenge on Evra should have been PKs as well. We can go tit for tat on no calls, the red is what changed the game.
