I wouldn't say first choice quite yet, but he definitely looks like a future #1 from what I've seen. He was outstanding against Newcastle in the Carling Cup.

I'm just sitting back, rubbing my hands together and chuckling a VERY evil chuckle as I watch this.

Guess this also answers the question on what his best position is, then.

now that I look at it, this is a better title.

Big of them to apologize directly and even bigger of Ward and McCarthy to accept it.

I second that.

here's a challenge for everyone: find Turkmenistan on a map. First to do so gets +1 bubble.

like I said below, Mancini might be looking for a Job in January, maybe sooner, because I doubt the City fans are happy with the way their team plays given the immense attacking potential that they have.

City were too Italian. I don't think Mancini will/should be there much longer. At least under Mark Hughes they were exciting. Since Mancini's come in though, each of these meeting have been seeing less and less goals so I guess a 0-0 was inevitable.

I was expecting to see red. Totally surprised to see that coming from Cesc. At the very least he and Wenger apologized to McCarthy after the match.

we actually won ugly.Precisely what the doctor ordered, given our current dip in form. Wolves showed what a good footballing side they can be today. Showed the top 4 sides in the league what they're made of and is unlucky to have only one result to show for it.

and imagine, two seasons ago they knocked out Real Madrid. Real must have played really poorly then (crappy pun not intended).

some incredibly careless goals, some of them, but yeah.

Wow. Guess no one can say he doesn't work hard. He's literally run himself into the ground.

PS. Why do I suddenly have only one bubble?

I'm really starting to like this guy as a manager. They parked the bus in the second half on Sunday, sure, but they don't play ugly football at all.

He's now won at Stamford Bridge, Upton Park and the Emirates. I think he's got it out for the London clubs on their own patch this season. Spurs and Fulham watch out!

not literally one minute ago I saw an ad for stopping Malaria in Africa on USA Network.

well then, that should certainly help heal some North Korean wounds after their 7-0 thrashing at the hands of Portugal. That match was the first ever televised foreign anything in North Korea, so that just made it even more embarrassing.

knew there had to be a reason he was looking so uncomfortable. There's "bad form" bad passes and there's "injury" bad passes, because even when not playing well he passes the ball better than he did in the Newcastle match.

cool. We don't really need him ATM since we have Fabregas, Nasri, Wilshere, Rosicky and Ramsey for that role, but since injuries have been by far our biggest enemy in recent years he could still play a role

and yet, his leg wasn't broken. So either Ramsey, Eduardo and Ben-Arfa are VERY brittle-boned or the tackles that they received were even harder.
