I'm tired of Barcelona rushing him onto the field whenever he shows the first signs of recovery. He clearly hasn't been 100% fit since his last season which might explain the drop in his form. This break might actually be good for him.
Sad, but Tata, unlike Tito V. has shown that he can change the Barca system around to cope with Messi being out. I hope he recovers in time to give Barca the push they need around February-March, where they'll need him the most.
Big blow! Although he hasn't been fully fit since the last time he got injured. Hopefully he is left to get back to full fitness, and hopefully, full form as a result. Now let's see what Barcelona are made of over the next couple of months without Messi :)
They are still one of the best teams but Messi obviously is the main man, but just like Liverpool won more without Suarez last year, and Man Utd actually scored more and conceded less the year Ronaldo left teams can cope without one player no matter how important he is. Hopefully he is given time to recover properly because these kind of injuries are no joke.
"Bastian Schweinsteiger is out for longer coz he's having an ankle op and nobody even cares...messi out for 2 months and everyone loses their minds." - why wouldn't they? He scores goals for fun and is great to watch!
