Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has not ruled out further forays into the transfer market, but declined to name specific targets for his side.

The European champions have already spent big during the off-season, bringing in Lille attacker Eden Hazard and Werder Bremen midfielder Marko Marin for a reported combined total of 40 million pounds - with a move for highly rated Porto striker Hulk also touted.

LOL, i totally agree with you.

sync between the players is the most important aspect , just getting big names won't do anything except drain your wallet .

silvacrest4312d ago

what you said is true but also random, either they get on or they dont

freeduck4311d ago

Try telling that to Roman

To him buying players is like a child going to Toys R Us

silvacrest4311d ago

please dont hate, if liverpool had the money do you think they would continue to buy the same quality of players they have now?

Baka-akaB4311d ago

seriously everyone with that kind of money spend that much . What matters is if they achieve something with it , or waste it away . With a CL and the previous title , it certainly was a success

freeduck4311d ago

Not tryin to insult Chelsea but that's how Roman has been running the club. It was his decision to buy Shevchenko and Torres, and this summer he bought Marin and Hazard before a manager was confirmed.
He should really stay away from signing players and let the manager do his job.
