Defending champions Mohun Bagan looked disjointed for majority of the 90 minutes against Sporting Clube de Goa but picked three crucial points thanks to an opportunistic strike by Katsumi Yusa. The Green and Maroons ended the first half of the competition sitting on the top of the ladder and irrespective of what happens in the East Bengal-Salgaocar clash on Sunday, they will have at least a point's lead over their arch rivals.
