Liverpool fear that captain Steven Gerrard’s frustration with life under Rafael Benitez
will see him leave Anfield this summer if he gets the right offer.
Gerrard has been a Liverpool player for more than 11 years, making more than 400 appearances for the club that he almost led to Barclays Premier League glory a year ago.
But Sportsmail understands that the Anfield hierarchy are concerned by the lack of a relationship between the midfielder and manager Benitez and fear he will look at other options this summer.
It could be a could for Gerrard to change club.
But i think Liverpool will be the only club he will play for the rest of his career.
Now I think he will go, its sad to say.

Gerrard is over the top. If he doesnt play well in the WC, no body will pay as much Liverpool wants and we will stay at Anfield for all his career. Not as good as he used to be!
I dont think the world has seen the best of Gerrard yet. Put him in a greater club, and he will be one of the biggest star in the world of football.
