Czech Republic 1-0 Scotland: Roman Hubnik Header Breaks Resistance Of Craig Levein's Men

Scotland's resolutely defensive approach fell short in Prague as the Czech Republic squeezed out a 1-0 victory in Euro 2012 qualifying.

Central defender Roman Hubnik was the man who broke the hearts of Craig Levein's men, heading in from close range after a well-worked corner kick routine on 65 minutes.

It was the least the Czechs deserved having forced the issue from the off, and throws them right back into the race for a playoff spot in Group I.

The story is too old to be commented.
