Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is hoping to have midfielder Frank Lampard and skipper John Terry back in action during the game against Everton.
The Blues recently travelled to take on Newcastle United at St James' Park, but were only able to return with a share of the spoils. The result meant that the west London club relinquished the top spot to Manchester United , who now have a two-point lead over Italian's charges.
Lampard has had to deal with a persistent groin injury that has seen him sidelined for a majority of the season so far, while Terry recently succumbed to a long-standing nerve problem that had prevented him from being a 100 per cent fit in the past few years.
