Barcelona forward Lionel Messi has returned to training and could feature against Athletic Bilbao in their Round of 16 tie in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old Argentina international was given an extended Christmas break by coach Pep Guardiola and was back training with the rest of the squad on Monday morning, according to the club's official website.
