It has been revealed today that Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is showing an interest in the young Belgian striker Kevin de Bruyne who currently plays for Genk in Belgium.
The 19 year-old has exploded onto the international scene with a massive 16 goals in just 14 games for the Belgian U19 team and has even made his full international debut against Finland last year.
Despite his age, de Bruyne has already made 36 appearances for the League leaders Genk, and has been likened to his compatriot Steven Defour.
FC Twente made a £5m bid for the youngster in the summer, but Genk have made it clear that they won’t accept less than double that for de Bruyne, and now that Ancelotti is interested in taking him to Stamford Bridge, a bidding war could take the price even higher.
He is seriously talented but gotta approve the attitude.
