Ruud Gullit was sacked as coach of Terek Grozny on Tuesday and the Dutchman could only laugh at the bizarre nature of his Russian adventure.
Gullit was in the firing line after the club warned he would be ousted if he lost to Amkar Perm and Grozny succumbed to a 1-0 defeat causing the Chechen club's president Ramzan Kadyrov to dismiss the 48-year-old tactician.
