Barcelona vs Real Madrid: Loss Puts Heavy Pressure on Barca in Champions League

Br - Real Madrid's El Clásico win puts them seven points clear of Barcelona for the La Liga title—a defecit the Catalan giants are unlikely to make up.

Barca has won the title in the past three seasons, and five times in the last seven years. The only other team to win in that span is Los Blancos when they won back-to-back titles in 2007 and 2008.

They looked tired against Madrid and in the end, were actually well beaten. They had their usual amount of possession but did very little with it, few shots on target. As the saying goes, its not how much you have, its what you do with it.

They also only changed two players from the first leg against Chelsea. Chelsea changed 8 outfield players for their game against Arsenal.

Barcelona will be facing their 3rd big game in less than a week, with only a couple of fresh legs on the pitch. Chelsea surely have a great chance tonight.

It'll still be tough but if Chelsea give it their all and run their legs off, i think they can get the result they need.

I think Barca's players will be fine for the game, it's not like they want to attack too much and lose their legs on the pitch, they just need possession to avoid Chelsea scoring. The loss against Madrid was their first against them since when..last year's copa del rey? Barca is not this team that will crumble upon losing, no team is like this. People need to look at some stats again before jumping on their backs.

Messi looked tired to me tonight. Was poor :-) People need to learn about football a bit and see between the lines.

They didn't really penetrate nearly enough against a ten man Chelsea team and looked one dimensional when they were forced away from the centre.

Messi seemed off his game since the first Chelsea match, I think their biggest mistake was trying to get right through the middle, kinda of how Spain tried to do with England and lost on their last match.
