Koscielny should have played at left back with Santos as a left midfielder (for Cover) in a 451 Formation with either Poldoslky or Giroud as the target man. But even then, no pressing meant United had the ball all game.

Well to be fair in the regular 90 minutes, all goals, except United's third came from horrible defensive mistakes. In extra time it was mostly due to United getting more tired than Chelsea.
It seems Liverpool can't intimidate anyone anymore. Every team knows they can get something against Liverpool either away or home. I'm starting to doubt that Rodgers will be there at the end of the season, if they can't manage some type of good consistent performances.
The only two I'm still not sure of are Livermore and Welbeck. Livermore I haven't seen much of him to judge. Welbeck is still not reliable as the main striker.

Man, if it wasn't for the last 5 minutes or so of the first half I would have stopped watching this game. Our experienced players were just not bothered to play. but on the brake Wenger gave them a wake up call. In the end I guess thefirst half sloppiness of Arsenal led to this nail bitter and am glad that Arsenal manage to win in the end.

The Problems with Gervinho is that he likes to hug the ball for too long. Also, he seems to perform better when he plays on the left wing, but Podolski plays there, so now he has to play in the middle or on the right. IMO This puts him on an odd position because he has difficulty dribbling past players there and he can't cross with his right foot that well apparently.
I've said this before, that massive transfer fee must always be in Torres' head and it wont let him focus completely on his team and game.
Today they actually tried shooting and also got a few bodies inside the box. To me that's when Arsenal are the most dangerous. When they put at least 3 guys in the box so that defenders don't have only 1 target.
