Dortmund would have had one eye on the final so they aren't going to go all out to win this tie 7-1, their game plan for last night would have been to get to through the final with as few injuries/suspensions as possible.
If Madrid are better than Dortmund then out of the four times these two teams have played this season why were they only able to show it tonight when Dortmund were not really focused on winning?
I believe Manchester United are better than Real Madrid, fact is though they got a man sent off at a crucial time and lost. That's knockout tournaments for you.
Are Bild a reliable source?
The Mirror do make stuff up but they cite Bild as the source.
That first point is debatable, the last 10mins was as much down to Dortmund going into a 'nearly there' defensive mentality rather than Madrid stepping up their game.
Apart from the first 10mins and last 10 mins tonight Dortmund played better over the two legs, Madrid looked toothless the majority of the time.
Home is where the heart is, he may end up winning 10 Premier League titles at Man UTD but I bet it would have felt 10 times better just win one with Arsenal.
Barcelona plan B - try to get a man sent off through diving.
He was just trying to shield the ball, whether or not he intended to stamp on his opponent as well we'll never know but the fact the guy went down screaming like he had been shot with absolutely no contact typifies mainland European leagues.
Surely this will be appealed?
There is wage disparity in all teams and walks of life under capitalism, the problem with QPR is they threw money at overrated players or ones who simply don't care. Harry can talk as well as Samba was no better than the other big name flops.
Money can't buy the desire and will to succeed that got QPR promoted in the first place and needed to keep them up.
Politicians aren't exactly role models unless lying is now a virtue.
Defoe is English so the media are happy to overlook it like they do Bale's diving etc. it's only because of the massive media coverage that the FA have had to be seen to act with Suarez.
It's because he is making the Premier League look bad due to his bad reputation, I think they want to push him into packing his bags.
Defoe didn't even get punished for his biting which shows the double standards at play here.
They are the same team if not slightly worse, Barcelona have just made them look better than they are this season due to being poor in the head to head matches.
Dortmund are just too good for Real Madrid as shown in the group stages and last night.
Real Madrid may have beaten Barcelona twice this season but that's down to Barcelona's decline than Real Madrid having improved.
Is it even a foul? you see off-the-ball blocks like that all of the time in the middle of the park and the players just get on with it, is Muller not allowed to run into empty space? is it his fault Alba didn't even try to go around him? if Alba hadn't let Robben get past him he wouldn't have been the predicament of having to chase.
Barcelona peaked, Guardiola got out at the right time.
It's all well and good playing beautiful possession football but teams have figured out how to negate their attack and Barcelona have forgotten how to score simple goals (like Bayern did so ruthlessly last night).
It's no more dangerous than when a goalkeeper accidently punches another player.
The cat has been given a life long ban for pitch invasion.
I'd rather see an all German final or preferably mixed, there's too much diving and trying to get one another sent off in El Classico's.
United might want rid to free up the wages the money he is on they could sign a better player, imo when Rooney held Fergie to ransom over a new contract sealed his long term fate.
Man UTD could have given Bayern/Dortmund a decent game imo.
