@no_more_heroes- Dude Spurs have lost three games in a row, have the harder fixtures+ Europa to tire them out, goal difference worse than Arsenal and are only 4 points ahead and Arsenal have a home game in hand!! I'm no Arsenal fan but it's likely they'll get 4th, they manage to do it every year
@RGB- you do realise people from other countries support English teams too? Although I do agree with you, I'm a fan of football so why wouldn't I watch the champions league just cause my team got kicked out, no real football fan would just stop watching. In 2001-2002 no Italian teams made the qf's. 2003= all Italian final- there's no real shame in going out to Bayern or Madrid and I genuinely don't believe English teams are in danger of being left behind, it just works in ...
Well, who mentioned Mou? If you can bring up someone that has nothing to do with the story so can I, hypocrite much? Seems like you're the defensive one. IMO Barca are one of the most disrespectful, it's just covered up by the fact that they win a lot, the second they lose their true colours show. Turning on sprinklers, "one team came to play football" etc
A man in his position shouldn't be saying those things, but it's hypocritical of me/us to criticise Fergie for it though because lets face it most of us call him fat Ronaldo because instantly people will know who you are talking about. We should all call him Brazillian Ronaldo, or Phenom Ronaldo!
@Nes_Daze Yeah because Barca have never been disrespectful? Fabregas saga, Song etc Pep saying Barca had a lot of Wilshere's in his academy, all your players tapping up other play...
So Lopez should also have got a red for punching Vidic on the head? Regardless of malice he still punched him, somehow I don't think you'd agree with that.

That's pretty much my view on it, look lets be honest Man Utd were in control and didn't look in any real danger but we all know football, it could have ended 2-2 3-1 to Uts or Madrid, anything was possible! I'm just sad the ref wanted some attention. We know the rules don't mention intent, that's not the point! The point is this happens week in w...
Lucas? :S last night it was Adriano, Oscar, Cesar and Fred took his goal well. The whole hype around the win isn't the fact we beat a big team, we've done that before in friendlies (Spain, germany etc) the point is that for once we actually played some decent football, we didn't just have 11 men behind the ball hoping to just park the bus. Some players you can just tell will be amazing, and you could tell with Wilshere straight away, his performance vs Barca was amazing, if only h...
I hate how Wilshere is so underrated, people always point to his stats about goals and assists but that simply isn't his game- This is exactly why England will keep getting schooled by the likes of Italy, Spain, Germany etc because they appreciate players like Busquets, Kroos, Pirlo whereas we call Carrick and Wilshere crap because they rarely score or assist *Sigh*, for gods sake we played Scholes on the left wing to accomodate for Lampard and Gerrard because they scored more! Those two ...
It's just sad to watch Torres these days, i mean he can barely control the ball. I'd be unhappy to have him starting if I supported a team at the bottom of the table! What's worse is that any time he scores a tap in or something the commentators and people who know nothing about football will say ''He's back!'' the truth is he can't come back, his confidence is shot, his control is like when Rooney plays for England and his pace has slowed so much it looks ...
@Crazyturkey. He made Di Santo go off because he had an earring on and didn't let him come back on the pitch till the ball went out of play, the crazy decision by the ref was when he booked Wilshere for a perfect tackle! Theo is still Arsenal's best option upfront imo, but he does have a lot to learn especially when he has his back to goal. Gibbs is also vital to Arsenal but he just cannot seem to stay fit which is a shame
Tbh United look weak whenever Giggs plays these days, it's usually masked by him getting a goal or assist but overall it feels like playing with one less man. Scholes can still dictate play but not for the full 90 and he offers nothing defensively except for getting booked and giving away cheap fouls. IMO the 1st name on the team sheet from cm should be Carrick (cue negs), he rarely gets the crowd off their feet but he is a consistent performer.
@Diffraction, you are so full of it mate. Ferdinand kicking the ball onto the fan was an accident, it hit a Utd supporter and he apologised to her after the match and and she accepted it. A bit different to someone deliberately throwing a coin to hurt someone no? Also what does growing balls have to do with putting a coin in a sock? Any player who has a coin thrown at them should report it to the F.A, simples.
@Rgb.You are honestly the worst of Football fans, you cant judge a player for yourself can you? it's all about awards and blah blah blah. See one thing you leave out of all of that is how he was part of a Spain side that keeps the ball for most of the match! put me in goal for Spain right now and i'd have a decent shot at a clean sheet! How often does he actually have to make any saves? infact in the matches where he is actually required, e.g when Madrid have a bad game, you can expec...
Joe Hart is overrated but still a quality keeper, what about Casillas though? The guy has been shockingly bad for ages yet no one calls him up on it (Probably cause he plays for Madrid and Spain) atleast Hart made saves to keep City in it in the first place! Maicon is quite simply a terrible defender who scores wonder goals from time to time, Kompany had one of his worst games for City, seriously why did he duck?! I agree with the guy above who said although Madrid dominated the game they onl...
He's already said it wasn't about the money. People are too quick to judge him for going down easily and being confident/arrogant on the pitch but what about his charity work or his professionalism? what about the fact that his teammates have loved him at any club he's been at?. He doesn't seem like a bad person or overly obsessed with money. I think his sadness is because of a personal issue, everyone has the right to feel sad no matter how rich they are.
@Freeduck, wow 2 years on the trot. KONSPIRIACY!!11one1. You just concentrate on struggling to beat Hearts :)
As it stands City are not stronger, even if they get RVP is he really that much better than Aguero and Tevez? Whereas we will be stronger for the reasons listed by buddymagoo. Chelsea have signed a lot and will most likely sign more but who knows if they will have the right team chemistry plus they have the Club world championships. We need an lb to challenge Evra, I'd prefer Fryers getting more of a chance but Baines is only 2nd to Cole on form as an lb. IMO we need a Moutinho , De Rossi...
Didn't want Spain to win because football for me is better when there are shock results, at the minute Spain are too good to let this happen! They are one of the all time greats. At the World cup I see Uruguay or Argentina beating Spain
We never take our ball players and then we get schooled, imagine Carrick, scholes and wilshere. I just want the ball damn it :( it's painful to watch us give the ball away so easily. Fair play to Italy, hope they win simply because they are likeable unlike the arrogant Spanish.
He had a reason, an eye for an eye and all that (not that I condone either what Hangelaand did to him or Roy back to Hangelaand)
