If it was a red card for Nani, then it should of been a red card for Lopez punching Vidic in the face which IMO was more dangerous.
That wasn't a challenge, it was a Collision.
United's play was no different to the way Real Madrid played against Barcelona.
I don't know, why don't list all the times the ref won a match for United.
Please list all of them.
Lets agree to disagree.
Jones went in shoulder to shoulder, therefore it was a fair challenge, if he went into Di Maria's back like Yaya Toure did against Southampton it would be a penalty.
Another example in the same game was Raphael going shoulder to shoulder with Ronaldo by the corner flag, it was a clean challenge therefore no free kick for Real Madrid.
For elbowing Jonny Evans.
Don't know what Rafael was thinking just before Dempsey's goal, he makes the tackle the ball runs loose and Rafael sprints away from it obviously expecting Valencia to miraculously get to it and pass to him.
There is 40 seconds left of the game why is he making an attacking run instead of attacking the ball and defending.
What is it with our wingbacks, when they attack they will charge forward at pace yet when they loose the ball or mistime a tackle and the op...
Not to mention that Pardew and his staff were Haranguing the ref and assistants during the game.
Loved how calm Pardew and his staff were when the linesman initially raised the flag for offside for the second goal. /s
Swansea's passing and possession style of play has been compared to Barcelona's style of play making it difficult to win the ball back.
Our game plan today to counter it was to literally give them the ball any chance we got. Basically every United player was guilty of this but non more so than Rooney, he must of had 20 odd failed passes/dribbles today.
Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs alone in midfield should never happen. Period. The only position it would be safe to play Giggs now days is playing just behind the striker with two midfielders behind him. Problem is that position is occupied by Rooney and Kagawa.
It's seems SAF feels he has an obligation to play Giggs and Sorry to say it's a detriment to the team more often than not.
SAF wanted experience to finish off the game, why didn't he choose F...
The last 20 odd minutes was made a lot more difficult than it should of been having Giggs and Scholes in central midfield.
Typical Man City, throwing money at all their problems.
It's going to be a tough week, playing Chelsea twice and then Arsenal in the span of 8 days.
Personally I blame Schole's, absolutely stupid place to concede a free kick. Then he made two more unnecessary fouls that could of/Should of got him sent off. I'm sure SAF gave him an absolute blassting at half time because second half he played more sensibly.
De Gea is hard done by, for every mistake he makes he has saved as ten times over. Our defense offer him no protection making his job that much more difficult.
Completely agree, Welbeck would of offered much more energy and defensive support than Giggs.
Don't know why Gigg's was chosen to play left wing, He hasn't been a winger for the last 3-4 seasons, he prefers Kagawa's position behind the striker, so why play both.
Gigg's was just wandering around for 90% of the first half. Welbeck or Cleverly would of provided us more Defensive and offensive options with more pace and strength than Gigg's.
Fryers has signed for Tottenham Hotspur and Fabio is on loan to QPR so United definitely need to bring in a left back.
Ben Arfa and Cabaye had an awful game, they didn't supply Ba and Cisse with any decent opportunities.
If Ba and Cisse were useless then so was Tevez, Aguero and Dzeko because they didn't do much better.
Out of the 13 losses United have suffered, Park has started 11 of them. I'm really disappointed SAF didn't put out an attacking team looking for a win.
I thought Ramos blocking off Raphael towards the end of the match was a definite penalty.
