Facts are facts, Football wouldn't be the same period.

I love how people think the EPL is competitive compared to other leagues, people need to learn the facts. Since the EPL was formed this is the facts between La Liga and ELP;

6 La Liga seasons within 3 pts, 2 Head to Head seasons!
5 EPL seasons within 3 pts.
7 La Liga Seasons won by 2 wins (6 pts).
11 EPL seasons won by 2 wins (6 pts).
1 La Liga season...

Benzema, Higuain, Neymar and Ronaldo will make a great strike force. If rumours are true as well Aguero maybe joining as well which will be interesting. I don't understand why Madrid got Jose Callejon back, sure he's from the youth system but I doubt he'll even be a bench warmer. I can see him on loan deals already. As for Adebayor, never ever liked him. He's not Madrid quality in my opinion.

I think it terms of a club name and legacy no name is bigger than Real Madrid. Football wouldn't be the same if it wasn't for Madrid in the mid 20th century.

Madrid have beaten Barca this year, Man United haven't. That's the facts, sure Madrid played 4 more games but decisions called the tie in 2 of these games. 2nd most consistent? Last year Man United won nothing and this year only the EPL so it's not that consistent to be honest.

To be honest I can't see why people have got it in for Benzema. It's not Impossible to have 4 world class strikers on the same team. Kaka needs to be replaced in my opinion as well. Ganso would be an Ideal replacement for Kaka at Madrid. Madrid could snap both in a duel bid or a rounded figure.

@Anderson8

Bashing Real for not making the last 16 for 7 years has nothing to do with the talent of the current team. First of all Madrid went through a period of changing managers and philosophies in these 7 years. Madrid won a few titles in that period but you can't blame the current team for the last 7 years.

Also being in 3 finals in 4 years means nothing if you don't win them. Remember this quote, "Finishing 2nd is the biggest loser!". ...

@zootang, true but Madrid has made the biggest contribution to club football international. You can't bash Madrid for need creating it's own talent when Man United ain't much better. Barca ain't the best either, only 40% of the whole team is from the youth team. Bilbao has the best record around when it comes to home grown, youth team systems and records matching this success.

A few seasons ago he had to stop for medical reasons. Doctors said his heart couldn't cope with playing full games or consistently playing football. He trained for a year to improve his fitness but he still wasn't cleared by the doctors and had to retire at age 25. He is now working for Madrid's coach scheme. :(

Such a shame about Ruben de la Red. Could of been a really top player. :(

Came from the Real Madrid youth system, extremely good talent.

Keep dreaming son, ain't going to happen.

You could probably guess I'm a Real Madrid supporter but it is clearly obvious the current Barca team is the greatest football team of all time. I call Barca Champions right now, why are United fans so naive. Barca could destroy any team in a heartbeat.

Still 4 Gran Clásicos in 3 weeks, regardless if Madrid win or lose these games, it will be football heaven to watch!

Júlio César... once super keeper, now keeping clown. What happened, so brilliant last year and now just letting nothing chances in.

Probably not but two reckless tackles after each other, so what can the ref do.

4774d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Like I said before, who thought Spurs had a chance? I mean seriously! Really easy game and entertaining as well.

4 Gran Clásicos in 3 weeks! Unbelievable!

4774d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Can't see how people thought this would be close, even with 11 Spurs didn't attack the Madrid defenders. Should of 2-0 at least!

Half time at the minute!

Indeed forgot about that one, much more of a penalty than Pedro's. Alumina played well to say he's only played several games all season. Could of look embarrassing if it wasn't for some good saves.

Ain't going to happen to be honest, have you seen Mourinho's home record? 8 years unbeaten.

http://www.realmadrid.com/c...

Current Real Home record this season, the best in Europe. Lyon don't have a great chance, plus Mourinho's Madrid was the first to score against Lyon at Stade de Gerland. The away goal is massive...

Disgrace wasn't it, was watching the highlights after the other game on Sky Sports 2. Unbelievable really, at least 3 reds and Webb was in charge again. World Cup was a shocker and so was this for him. He was probably the best ref in the world before the World Cup finals.

I'd agree with that but he was treading on thin lines when he blatantly put his hands in Alves' face.

Barca was the better team in both games, far better with the ball and without it.

Games up, nothing is working for Mourinho. Post twice in the Lyon game and twice tonight.
